We want to be healthy.
We want to grow.
We want to travel.
We want to start families.
We want to ensure our children thrive in the future.
We want to fulfil our dreams.
We want to help.
Quite a well-known saying in our times is “money doesn’t give you happiness”.
There is probably a lot of truth in it because just having money will not make us happy, but to use it and invest in ourselves will. I’ve met a lot of people, from different backgrounds, with different social status and I can safely say that people with more money are more satisfied with their lives. There is nothing strange about it, they can finally afford to use it as a tool. Look how many possibilities money opens up for us: we can travel the world, we can develop through various courses and trainings, we can experience extreme sports, we can learn new languages, we can go to theatres, to exhibitions, to cinemas. We have so many opportunities and we don’t use most of them.
But why?
Out of laziness?
Because of restrictions?
Nothing is free in the end. We’re not all the same and we don’t all have the same needs. There are people among us who need a book or a good movie to be happy, but for how long? We live about 80 years on average. We have so much time to do different, interesting things and to develop constantly, but something is stopping us resulting in us only living to half of out potential. It may be fear, it may be laziness, but it may also be money, or actually a lack of money. We will wake up at the age of 80 and regret that our life passed in the blink of an eye and we didn’t taste all it’s flavours. So let us work, earn, enjoy life, use the money we earn as a tool to be explorers.
Explorers of our not yet fully discovered world.
