W ramach współpracy skorzystałam z oferty salonu SPA Buro w Poznaniu, gdzie przetestowałam ich masaż twarzy kobido, który bardzo polecam i na który chętnie jeszcze do nich wrócę. W połowie miesiąca pojechaliśmy do Jarocina na ślub oraz wesele bliskiej koleżanki Kuby, na którym świetnie się bawiliśmy. Jako ciekawostkę dodam fakt, iż weselne jedzenie było wyłącznie w wersji wegańskiej i było pyszne.
W ubiegłym miesiącu miałam także czas, aby więcej posiedzieć w kuchni dzięki czemu w ramach spotkania z naszymi rodzicami ( moimi i Kuby) mogłam im podać wymyślony przez siebie deser bazujący na zastygniętym musie z gorzkiej czekolady oraz mascarpone.
W sierpniu wybraliśmy się także do lokalu nad Wartą, aby stamtąd obserwować zaćmienie słońca. Pewnie sporo z Was też to robiło :-) Niestety zdjęcia zrobione telefonem nie oddają niesamowitości tego zjawiska.
Ponadto zaliczyliśmy naszą restauracyjną randkę ( o tym będzie więcej w odrębnym wpisie) a z moimi dziewczynami wspólnie świętowałyśmy urodziny jednej z nich.
A jak wyglądał Wasz sierpień? Obserwowaliście zaćmienie słońca czy korzystaliście z ostatniego miesiąca i wybraliście się w jakąś wakacyjną podróż ?

I’ve been dealing with some health issues lately, which is why I’m only now posting a recap of the past month. August was a big movie month for us, and we managed to catch up on quite a few films. We also went to a concert by a singer from the Faroe Islands named Eivor. I highly recommend checking out her song titled “Salt.”
As part of a collaboration, I took advantage of an offer from the Buro SPA in Poznań, where I tried their Kobido facial massage—which I highly recommend and would love to go back for again. In the middle of the month, we traveled to Jarocin for the wedding and reception of a close friend of Kuba’s, where we had a great time. As a fun fact, I’ll mention that the wedding food was entirely vegan—and it was delicious.
Last month, I also had time to spend more time in the kitchen, so during a get-together with our parents (mine and Kuba’s), I was able to serve them a dessert I’d come up with myself, made with a set dark chocolate mousse and mascarpone.
In August, we also went to a spot by the Warta River to watch the solar eclipse from there. I’m sure a lot of you did the same :-) Unfortunately, the photos I took with my phone don’t do justice to how amazing this phenomenon was.
In addition, we went on our restaurant date (more on that in a separate post), and I celebrated one of my friends’ birthdays with my girlfriends.
