Trafalgar Square, to kolejny "must see" Londynu. Plac położony w centralnym Londynie, gdzie kiedyś znajdowały się stajnie królewskie. Dlaczego ma nazwę Trafalgar? Nazwa pochodzi od zwycięskiej bitwy pod Trafalgarem. Jego budowę rozpoczęto w 1829 roku. Na placu znajdziemy kolumnę Nelsona, który poległ w tej morskiej bitwie, oraz pomniki Jerzego IV (co ciekawe, Jerzy IV jest uważany za najbardziej znienawidzonego władcę Wielkiej Brytanii), generała Havelocka oraz generała Napiera. Od 1999 roku (z krótką przerwą) co roku Trafalgar Square zdobi nowa rzeźba, w tym roku jest to szkielet konia z kokardą symbolizująca Londyńską Giełdę - poprzednio był to niebieski kogut. Bedąc na Trafalgar Square warto zajść do National Gallery, gdzie możemy znaleźć znane dzieła (np. Słoneczniki Van Gogha). Pamiętajcie by na zwiedzanie ubrać się przede wszystkim wygodnie jak i ciepło, ja postawiłam na długi płaszcz, golf, spódniczkę i kozaki. A wszystko zachowałam w pasujących do siebie kolorach by czuć się również elegancko.

ENG: Trafalgar Square, is another "must see" in London.The square is located in central London, in the place of royal stables. Why did they choose to name it Trafalgar?The name comes from the victorious Battle of Trafalgar. The construction of Trafalgar Square started in 1829. You can find
the column of Nelson, who died in this sea battle and monuments of George IV (interestingly, George IV is considered to be the most hated ruler of Britain), General Havelock and General Napier. Since 1999 (with a short break) every year, Trafalgar Square is decorated with a new sculpture, this year is the skeleton of a horse with a ticker symbolizing the London Stock Exchange - previously it was a blue cockerel. Visiting Trafalgar Square, you should also make your way to the National Gallery, where you can find many well-known works (eg. Van Gogh's Sunflowers).
The outfit I chose is very comfy and practical. Matching colours make the look very elegant and sophisticated.
